BioJoshua Noel Wood lives in southern Wyoming, in a town called Saratoga. This small town is located on the North Platte River. Saratoga calls many types of people such as hunters, snowmobilers, fly-fishermen, floaters, vacationers, artists, writers, and many others. Josh has lived in a lot of different places; some big, most small. He has lived in Bairoil, Wyoming (a pop. of less than 100), Riverton, Wyoming, Missoula, Montana, and Sun City, California.
Josh has been in love with the mountains and nature since before he can remember. He first started writing in grade school, but began to actively pursue it when he entered high school. In 2005 he published a collection of short stories under the title "After the Sun Sets and the Moon Rises" through PublishAmerica. Since then, Josh has been working on many different writing projects including a sci-fi/fantasy "Between Salvation and Damnation" that was started in 2004 at Young Writer's Camp in Story, Wyoming as well as a mystery titled "Estate Sale" started in 2007 in Sun City, California.
In 2008, Josh was tapped to write the script for the Fourth of July Cowboy Shootout that takes places annually in Saratoga, Wyoming. In December, he was handed control of the Cowboy Shootout to help reach a younger generation.
In his blog, Josh posts writing, rants on religion and politics, everyday mundane occurences, and other such subjects.
